Triumph at the USA Professional Cycling Champships
Thursday, September 3, 2009

Triumph provided a Sprint ST and a Tiger 1050 to Bill Diaz – Motorcyclist of the Camera/Media team (TV Moto) for the 2009 USA Cycling Professional Road Race Championship in Greenville, SC.
Bill was gracious enough to provide his feedback from the event afterwards:
“First I would like to thank you, and let you know that Willie at Powersports of Greenville was very helpful in familiarizing us with the machines and the shop was first rate.
Bill road the Sprint ST for more than 5 1/2 hours and touted its comfort, engine performance, brakes and controls. He claimed that the engine and clutch in particular worked very well for holding a steady shot. According to Bill, “Feeding the clutch in and out under steady throttle helps to match the pace of the cyclists without upsetting the cameraman. It never faded and the engine torque was excellent.”
He goes on to state, “Engine temperature was never an issue despite slow speed climbing in low gear. The Camera operator found the rear of the bike comfortable and easy to work from.”
