The Team Roberts R.A.T Pack has been running now for a number of years and our membership has grown quite considerably, including I am glad to say quite a few female members riding various Triumph models, members of all ages and riding abilities. We actively encourage our members to take part in all of our rides and social events of which there have been quite a few.
We have had the normal day trips to various parts of the country, and some further a field - Germany, France and Belgium to name a few.
We have for a second year (2009) decided among the members to support our chosen charity The Bluebell Wood Children`s Hospice. 2008 saw many different events held to raise over £1000 and we are hoping to do better in 2009.
The R.A.T Club is still active during the winter months with social events and rides. On the Positive side we find that riding during these month help to hone your riding skills and you do not get to the position where your bike has been stored (wrapped up in a garage) during the winter and then you have to blow of the cobwebs when starting riding again come Spring. We recommend that during these months you simply wash of your trusty Triumph on returning from a ride, which keeps it all shiny and in excellent condition.
