Tuesday, February 16, 2010

The ParkinGO Triumph Series participants are getting ready to ride the Triumph Street Triple R's ahead of the official test which is due to be held at Valencia on the 18th of March.
The Series, presented at the Spanish circuit, will be exclusively given over to the 24 Street Triple R's. Triumph management and journalists from the world's most prestigious publications will attend the event which is the first race for the riders taking part in this Challenge.
Also presnt will be Brit Chaz Davies, two-times World Supersport champion, Frenchman Sebastien Charpentier, American Jason Di Salvo and Spaniard David Salom who make up the Factory Team for ParkinGO Triumph BE1 Racing for 2010. The "4 Musketeers" as they are known, will be returning from Australia after racing in the Supersport opening round and will do some testing with the ParkinGO European Series riders and give them some advice on riding and bike setup.
The Street Triple R will be equipped with a racing kit. Bitubo will provide the Supersport-derived single shock absorber and the revalved front suspension that the company makes available to all the teams taking part in the Superstock championship.
Rizoma manufactured all the necessary components in order to transform the Street Triple R into a true racing bike with handlebars, footpegs, levers, frame guards and the innovative Proguard system, which protects the brake and clutch levers, thus guaranteeing rider safety during the race action.
Arrow will equip the bike with a complete racing exhaust that improves overall power and torque.
Virgin Radio, the event's official media partner, will air live the entire launch.
