New Bonneville & Bonneville SE arriving in dealerships thoughout March!

Having set a new all-time sales record of over 47,000 bikes in 2008, the Bonneville is set to celebrate its golden anniversary in 2009 at a time when the British manufacturer is celebrating its own golden age.

The Bonneville legend was born when Triumph broke the motorcycle speed record at the world-famous Bonneville Salt Flats and became the motorcycle of choice by Hollywood stars of the 1950s and ‘60s.The original Bonneville was synonymous with the rebellion and independence of its heyday and became famous along side of Steve McQueen, Clint Eastwood and other Hollywood legends.

Modern day Bonnevilles utilise the latest engineering and wrap it up in a classically styled roadster package. The most striking changes to this newest Bonneville are the 1" seven spoke cast wheels and cleaner 1970s style lines. Compared to the 2008 model, the new wheels and tyres reduce unsprung weight by over 8kg. When combined with the new model’s updated ergonomics and 740mm seat height, the result is an incredibly agile and easy to ride roadster that is as equally at home in the urban jungle as it is on the open road.

Powering the Bonneville is a thoroughly modern 865cc parallel twin engine, producing 67bhp and offering clean and smooth running throughout the rev range.

Two versions of the 2009 Triumph Bonneville are available, a standard version that comes in plain black or white colour options, and the higher specification Bonneville SE. The Bonneville SE comes with more comprehensive instrumentation, brushed alloy engine cases and chromed tank badges, as well as a two-tone blue and white colour option. The higher-specification, 1960s styled, Bonneville T100 remains in the range, with some detail updates for the 2009 model year.

To complement the new Bonnevilles an exciting range of new clothing and accessories has been designed.
