LIQUID COOLING
When liquid cooled, the cylinders and combustion chambers are enclosed in a jacket of coolant; the coolant is circulated around the engine by a pump; as air flows through the radiator the coolant is cooled. The benefits of liquid cooling are that it helps maintain the correct engine temperature, which allows an engine to produce more horsepower under hard use. The engine also enjoys a longer life due to running at constant temperatures and it is mechanically quieter as the water acts as a noise insulator.
