SUSPENSION ADJUSTMENT
Triumph use a number of different methods to adjust suspension. These features allow the rider to fine tune the suspension package to suit the riding conditions and their riding style to optimise comfort and handling.
Preload adjustment - Used to compensate for different payload, e.g. differing rider weight, addition of pillion passenger, luggage.
Compression damping adjustment - By altering the oil flow rate around the suspension unit this controls the rate at which the spring compresses. On the front this limits the amount of fork drive under hard braking.
Rebound adjustment - This controls the rate at which the spring extends back to its normal state after compression.
