Triumph Motorcycles Ltd are now recruiting for a high calibre undergraduate for a 12-month work placement within the IT Department commencing Summer 2010 for 12 months. The Successful Candidate will work closely with the Operations Support team in the role of supporting Triumph’s IT users worldwide and will also be involved with some project work, working alongside the ‘Senior Intel / Network Administrator’.

Job Description

• First line support, answering and logging Helpdesk calls (typically from Users in the UK and other countries)
• Undertake regular system checks, identify any problems and seek rectification.
• Trouble shooting of calls.
• Ensure all calls are completed and ensure customer satisfaction with the solution provided.
• Intranet Administration.
• User profile setup / Administration
• Regular checks of Mailsweeper (releasing emails).
• Administrative tasks such as ordering of consumables, booking of loan equipment.
• Monitoring of WAN
• Placement & chasing of fault calls to external support.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service

Person Specification

• IT literate, expertise in standard packages - Microsoft Office
• Background in IT / Studying IT
• Confident / Good telephone manner
• Team player
• Good attention to detail
• Comfortable in liaising with members of staff at all levels.
