Triumph awarded Franchise of the Year Award

The industry title British Dealer News has, for the second year running, awarded Triumph the prestigious Motorcycle Franchise of the Year Award.

The accolade comes as Triumph announce a third successive year in top spot having sold more large capacity motorcycles than any other manufacturer in the UK since 2011.

Figures from the Motorcycle Industry Association (MCIA) recorded a rise in sales for Triumph to over 7,500 bikes, boosting Triumph’s market share in the last 12 months to 19.6%.

The recent success has been attributed to Triumph’s commitment to invest in new product. 2013 saw a new Trophy 1200, Tiger Sport, Street Triple and update to the class leading Daytona 675 too.

The continual investment continues in 2014 with the highly anticipated Thunderbird Commander and Thunderbird LT due to arrive in dealers this Spring.

A special edition Tiger 800XC is also due to hit dealers in the coming months.
