TRIUMPH ABBIGLIAMENTO
Triumph Legends - Marlon Brando
lunedì 21 settembre 2009

Inspired by Marlon Brando in the iconic biker movie, The Wild One, Triumph has designed a replica jacket identical to the one worn in the film.
The 1953 movie depicted the motorcycle rebel culture and proved a seminal piece of movie making, inspiring generations. The Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (BRMC) was led by the charismatic Johnny Strabler, the character played by Brando, who gatecrashed a motorcycle race in the small town of Wrightsville. The bike of choice was the Triumph Thunderbird 6T (The Triumph Brando rode in the movie was actually his own personal motorcycle).
This modern day replica includes the key features of Brando’s original, right down to the ‘Johnny’ embroidered chest signature and the BRMC distressed print on the back of the jacket. The style takes a direct influence with the classic highway collar, shoulder epaulettes and pocket detailing.
The leather is also a close but modern match whereby it is treated to give a vintage finish.
This replica is also brought up to date with double impact seam stitching, CE certified shoulder and elbow protectors and a removable thermal vest lining.
To celebrate the life of the original rebel, and under official license from the Brando estate, we’ve developed additional products inspired by the Wild One. As well as the special edition jacket the collection includes a men’s and ladies t-shirt and a limited edition print that features Brando’s iconic movie pose.
