ALUMINIUM CYLINDER LINERS
Aluminium cylinder liners are very light giving significant weight saving over conventional cast iron liners. They allow tighter piston to liner tolerances as the liners expand and dissipate heat at the same rate as the pistons. This gives better reliability and reduced noise.
