DOUBLE OVERHEAD CAMS (DOHC)
Triumph use two cams that are situated in the cylinder head; one operates the inlet valves and the other operates the exhaust valves, simplifying and lightening the cam train. This reduces reciprocating mass, resulting in better valve control at higher RPMs.
