THUNDERSPRINT 2009
lundi 18 mai 2009
Northwich jammed up as the crowds packed into the town centre in their tens of thousands. Welcomed with brilliant sunshine, classic race engines roared round the tight town centre track.
BS Bikes (soon to be Staffordshire Triumph) set up their new show trailer and prepared to welcome customers old and new to this year's Thundersprint event.
Having taken along a small selection of Triumph motorcycles including the new 2010 Thunderbird for a sneak preview prior to the bike's release in July, plus a selection of Triumph clothing, BS Bikes were also on hand to offer advice on anything Triumph.
For 2009, Thundersprint was re-located right in Northwich town centre on the beautiful riverside piazza. The new venue proved to be extremely popular with over 100 classic and modern bikes on show along with seminars and information on everything from clothing to bike insurance and plenty of traders selling lots of bargains. BikeSafe were offering an interactive learning experience and good food and drink was available all day at reasonable prices making Thundersprint 2009 a fantastic day enjoyed by all. And to top it all there was NO admission charge!
Bob and the staff at BS Bikes had such a great time, they could not leave without booking a pitch for next year!!
If you missed seeing Bob and his crew, you can always catch up with them at Raven Cafe at Prees Heath - home of the Big Breakfast - on 7th June.
