Cycle World, America’s leading motorcycle magazine since its inception in 1962, featured the all-new Thunderbird on the April 09 issue front cover and a 6 page spread of the exclusive test ride. Mark Hoyer stated that the Thunderbird perfectly fuses American-styling with an enlarged British heart. “The Thunderbird”, he continues, “is indeed nice-handling and comfortable to ride [whilst] ...cornering is a pleasure”
Hoyer also states that "The engine is alive with torque and the lunges forward with significant and immediate snap. It does sound good".
Cycle World believe that the new Thunderbird’s engine is an individual and that riders will be amazed at the heights the bike can reach.
